About Us
Aroenergy is an independent energy company engaged in the exploration, development, production and acquisition of oil and natural gas resources in the United States, with an emphasis on oil and natural gas shale and other unconventional plays. Our current operations are focused primarily on the oil and liquids-rich portion of the Wolfcamp and Bone Spring plays in the Delaware Basin in Southeast New Mexico and West Texas. We also operate in the Eagle Ford shale play in South Texas and the Haynesville shale and Cotton Valley plays in Northwest Louisiana.

Additionally, we conduct midstream operations, primarily through our midstream joint venture, San Mateo, in support of our exploration, development and production operations and provide natural gas processing, oil transportation services, natural gas, oil and salt water gathering services and salt water disposal services to third parties

Robert Scott
Chief Executive Officer/ Director
Engr Robert Scott is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Aroenergy Company, He has over 39 years of experience in all phases of the oil and gas exploration and production business with focal areas on company start-ups, management of exploratory prospect origination, and in drilling, completion and production operations management. Mr. Robert is the President, and co-owner of Aro Energy (Petroleum) LLC, privately owned, independent oil and gas companies engaged in the exploration and production of oil and natural gas.
Mr. Robert is a member of the West Texas Geological Society, the New Mexico Oil & Gas Association, the Society of Petroleum Engineers: Permian Basin & Gulf Coast Sections, the Houston Producer’s Forum, ADAM-Houston Energy Network, the Houston Petroleum Club, and the First United Methodist Church in downtown Houston.

John C Nania
Operation Manager
Engr John has 35 years of experience working all aspects of petroleum engineering. He has spent most of his career in the Permian Basin and served as Permian Basin Division Drilling Manager for EOG Resources in Midland. He was responsible for all drilling operations in the Midland Division from July 2001 to September 2007. He earned the reputation as one of EOG’s top Shale Drilling & Completions “Trouble-Shooter” and “Well Performance Optimization” Engineer.
